My Adventure Movie 2012

2012 was a great year and I finaly put my video up for all to see, it was fast, furious, and one to remember. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did. Here is a little something about me you might not know:

My name is Marsha Stafford I live in St. George, Utah gateway to Zion’s National Park in southern Utah. I am single through a divorce two years ago. I do not have children but would call Elvis a mini pin and Pricilla a doe Chihuahua the closest thing to having children. My major is Behavioral Health Science. I am a SUDC, Substance Use Disorder Counselor and an LPP Licensed Private Probation Officer, for the last nine years. I am in long term recovery from alcohol, drugs, and I love working with others in recovery around the world. I am love to climb rocks, mountains, and peaks my passion for rock climbing and recovery lead me to Nepal to create a documentary called Climb 4 Sobriety in 2012 http://vimeo.com/45946733 . As a result of that journey I was driven to assist on another documentary project in Nepal called, Sherpa the Movie http://vimeo.com/82636796. As a result of these two projects I continue to be drawn back to Nepal, the Himalayas and most recently an area called The Chepang Village the people of this country are amazing. I sit on the board of a non-profit called AHRD Nepal - Adventist Help for Rural Development Nepal project that arose from my visit to the Chepang village in Nepal 2013. We are continuing our efforts to bring educational materials to this underserved area. My local hobby is an online radio show I started in December 2012 as I felt the recovery community needed to have a voice of recovery. The name of my show is The Been There Done That Show www.beentheredonethatshow.com. Each week a different topic such as addiction from Alcohol and Drugs, Gambling, Eating Disorders etc… Our Celebrity and Local guest will include, Actors, Musicians, Professional Athletes, Public Speakers, Authors, Medical Professionals, and Legal Professionals local guests in Recovery and the brightest and best minds in when it comes to the issues of Recovery and life in general
